Easy to operate

Automatic calibration

Using Active Target with the Radian laser tracker, automatic evaluation and calibration of machine tools, CNC machining centers, and industrial robots can be achieved.

Ultra-high precision performance based on SMR

The Active Target receives laser light through a high-precision target ball (SMR) integrated in the fuselage. The high-precision target ball (SMR) has the characteristics of long tracking distance and high centering accuracy.

360° Infinite rotation tracking

The laser receiving device located in the core part of the fuselage can rotate infinitely 360° in the horizontal direction to keep the laser beam locked without interruption.

Advantages & Features

Active tracking

The Active Target integrates a motor and a built-in power supply system to actively track the laser beam emitted by the laser tracker in real time, keeping it locked and not losing light.

360° unlimited rotation tracking

The laser receiver located in the core of the fuselage can rotate 360° infinitely in the horizontal direction, keeping the laser beam locked and not losing light.

High-level precision performance

The laser receiver of the Active Target is a high-precision SMR target ball, which ensures accurate and precise measurement.

Safe and easy to use

The Active Target is safe and easy to use, and can be powered by batteries or cables. It is easy to install and will not damage machine tools or robot components.

Lightweight and widely applicable

The whole machine adopts a compact and lightweight design. The Active Target can be widely used in most machine tools and industrial robots.

Application Areas

Active Target can actively reverse track the laser beam emitted by the laser tracker, and always keep facing and locking the laser beam without causing light interruption. It plays a perfect auxiliary role in the automatic dynamic and static continuous measurement using the laser tracker. Its application areas include but are not limited to:

  • Voice Error Compensation (VEC)
  • Machine Tool Evaluation and Calibration
  • Robot Evaluation and Calibration
  • CNC Calibration
  • Track Alignment
  • CMM Tracking Measurement
